About Ardmore Equine Nutrition

History:
Ardmore Equine Nutrition Ltd. is a family owned and run business. It was started in 1975 and is situated in County Waterford, south-east Ireland, midst luscious pastures and hills rolling gently down to the sea. The city of Cork and the international airport are less than 30km away.

In the 28 years since conception, careful management and sustained growth have brought the company to the forefront of expertise in the Animal Feedstuff and Supplements markets.

Personnel:
Directly involved in the day to day activities and co-ordinating the major Company functions are Liam Gleeson (Managing Director) and his three sons, Kieran, Damien and Brian. All have a lifetime of expertise in the Animal Nutritional Supplements industry and have many additional skills associated with breeding, rearing and performance horses. Each has their-own specific spheres of influence and responsibilities within the Organisation. Supporting the team are a number of retained consultants with specialist skills in key areas and additional consultants who can be called upon on an ad-hoc basis when specific areas of expertise demand their skills.

Areas of Operation:
The formulation, production and marketing of Natural Supplements and Feedstuffs, often collectively called Neutraceuticals, for the Professional and Performance Animal Markets. The major proportion are for Horses, Greyhounds and Camels. Whether the animals are for breeding or racing and at whatever stage in their cycles they are in, or about to commence, there is an effective nutritional product available. Specialist companies complying with the up to date relevant legislation within the E.U. and abroad, manufacture the majority of products to the highest standards, and to our own researched formulations. The list of customers/clients includes most of the "top echelon" in their respective professions at home and abroad. The U.K. Ireland, Scandinavia, France and other EU Countries, the UAE in the Middle-east and South America all regularly take Ardmore Products.
