Blood Booster | The Science Behind Blood Booster

The Science Behind "Blood Booster"

An insight into the science behind "Blood Booster"-:

  • In keeping with many biological processes, even well researched ones, there are often subtleties, that when taken account of, can make a particular process dramatically more efficient. Take Folic Acid as an example. It is in fact, a number of closely related molecules, more correctly named as "unsubstituted polyglutamyl tetrahydrofolates" and various "substituted single carbon forms of tetrahydrofolate". Some of these forms are chemically unstable and on breaking down produce products that have no discernible advantageous biological activity. Potential difficulties can occur with the particular form of "folic acid" used in products, as certain ones have a reduced bio-availability of between 25-50%. "Blood Booster" contains forms of Folic acid that research has shown have the highest possible stability and bio-availability.

  • On ingestion, the polyglutamyl chain part of the "folic acid" molecule is removed at the mucosal boundary and the folate monoglutamate absorbed, but the efficiency of this process is crucial and has been taken into account in “Blood Booster”

  • Folic Acid and Vitamin B12 are intimately linked in RBC formation and hence both must be available along with all the other required constituents simultaneously. Folic Acid being "a methyl radical donor" converts Vitamin B12, also called Cobalamin to Methyl Cobalamin. It is this form of Vitamin B12 that actually that actually takes part in many bio-chemical reactions including Red Blood Cell production.
